CitizenShipper is a user driven transportation service; generated for and by users of the website. Not only aimed for users with items to send, CitizenShipper is a bank of user with regular travel time and the will to generate more income. To promote 'green shipping', CitizenShipper acts as middleman to the shipper (people with stuff to ship) and the driver (person who deliver the stuff), list of their schedules and let them discuss the cost. This is an attempt to reduce vehicles roaming the interstate with empty beds, and reducing the carbon pollution produced from the commute.
Emveep did a few touch-ups for the website, header and footer design, new shipment notification, map, also the profile page for members. User can now easily surf through the website without any confusion, and are able to communicate with one another regarding the shipment via private messaging. If user want to make money on their trip, they can head straight to the new Shipment for the latest delivery needs information.
Standard shipment service is considered inefficient. It is resulting in bad carbon pollution, while there is a high probability of people who regularly go back and forth the same shipment direction.
Matchmaking the shipment direction with people commute schedule.
Eliminates unnecessary shipment effort by trusting the stuff to regular commuters.
